A Philadelphia cop is caught on camera street racing? Or so it appears in the posted movie found on youtube.

I found this article which comments on the youtube video.

There is the normal comments from officials on how this type of behavior is unacceptable, etc… But in the end we never find out the winner of the race.

And the average income is going up. I might not always feel like that but a new report by Comerica Bank’s is showing this trend. The average car price has fallen 5% over the last year.

According to the AP the Toyota Prius is the number one hybrid car on the road today.

The Prius gets 60 miles to the gallon in the city and 51 mpg on the highway. With numbers like that I can see why this car is so popular. Gas prices are ridicules and this type of technology helps to ease the pain at the pump.

The Honda Civic Hybrid comes in a second with 49 mpg in the city and 51 mpg highway.

This is refreshing to see Saturn stick to their guns on the new Saturn Sky roadster. I like the fact they have publicly stated they will punish any dealership who tries to unfailry up the price of the car.

The new law will go into effect on July 1, 2008. I guess I am ok with this new law?

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger will sign a bill today that bans handheld cell phone use while driving. California will be the fourth state to put such a ban in place.

Fines for breaking the new law will be $20 for the first offense and
$50 every time after, but none of the tickets will impact the driver’s
insurance. Many cars sold today feature their own built-in hands-free
devices, and we’d expect that by July 2008 many more vehicles will come
with the technology standard.

It couldn’t have happened to a better car! My parents drive one and I get to drive it every so often. Not as much power as my car but still enough to get around town.
